Rev. Norlita J. Kaul is a Missouri girl. She is a graduate of SEMO State University in Cape Girardeau. Norlita also studied at the UMKC Conservatory in Music (Kansas City) in the area of Organ Performance as a Master’s student. Rev. Norlita graduated from Ecumenical Theological Seminary in Detroit MI, with her Master of Divinity degree in 2008. She has served in the PCUSA since 2010, as Stated Supply Pastor and Staff Associate Pastor prior to her ordination in the Heartland Presbytery in 2014. Since that time she has served as a solo pastor and an interim pastor in small rural churches in Missouri, Oklahoma, and South Dakota.
FPC Bridgeton welcomed Rev. Norlita as she began her ministry January 1, 2023. After many years without an installed pastor, the congregation has embraced her and trust her to shepherd us into what God is calling us to be.
In her free time, Rev. Norlita enjoys growing flowers, reading, working on family history/ancestry, spending time in nature and historical places, and going exploring with family, friends or even solo. Norlita still enjoys being involved musically whenever and wherever possible. Her community involvement involves memberships past/present, in PEO, Sigma Alpha Iota (Music Fraternity), Lion’s Club, OES, and Order of the Amaranth. Rev. Norlita has two adult children and three grandchildren.
